What to Bring for Your Stay

Planning your stay at All Together Recovery is an important step towards your journey to recovery. To ensure a comfortable and smooth experience, we have compiled a list of essential items you should bring with you. Please review the following guidelines carefully to prepare for your stay.

Clothing and Footwear

  • Pants: 10 pairs (including shorts, work pants, dress pants, and church-appropriate pants)
  • Footwear:
    • 1 pair of boots
    • 1 pair of sneakers
    • 1 pair of dress shoes
    • 1 pair of shower shoes
    • Night slippers
    • 10 pairs of socks
  • Shirts: 10 shirts plus t-shirts (no sleeveless shirts)
  • Underwear: 10 pairs
  • Pajamas: 1 pair

Personal Items

  • Alarm Clock: No radio function
  • Laundry Basket: Open type

Medications

  • Prescription Medications: Must be unopened, sealed, and in your name with at least a 30-day supply. Bring your glucometer if applicable.
  • Prohibited Medications: Over-the-counter medications and those on our Prohibited Substance List are not allowed and will be returned to your family or stored for 14 days before disposal. Substitute medications can be determined by our nurse practitioner if necessary.

Documents

  • Medical or Insurance Card: If applicable
  • Identification and Financial Documents:
    • Birth Certificate
    • Driver’s License or State-issued ID Card
    • Social Security Card
    • W-2s, last 4 pay stubs, last year’s tax return, and current bank statement

Contact Information

  • Index Card with Contacts: List all phone numbers (cell, home, work, fax) and email contact information for key individuals (e.g., family members, lawyers, probation & parole officers) on a 3×5 index card.

Reading Material

  • Books:
    • Bible
    • Journal
    • 12 Step Books
    • Devotionals

Money

  • Client Spending Account: Up to $250 allowed to be placed on your spending account.

Prohibited Items

Please do not bring the following items:

  • Electronics: Cell phones, CD players, iPods, earphones, electronic games, computers
  • Weapons: Pocket knives, any other weapons
  • Tobacco Products: Opened tobacco products
  • Food and Drinks: Personal food or drinks
  • Hygiene Products: Personal hygiene products, laundry detergent, air fresheners, candles, incense
  • Clothing: Sleeveless shirts or tank tops, bandanas, gang-related items
  • Personal Items: Wallets, cameras, expensive jewelry (except wedding rings), keys, tools, locks, personal linens, pillows, towels
  • Miscellaneous: Personal vehicle of any kind, musical instruments (unless pre-approved), playing cards, books or magazines, newspapers, hair clippers, coat hangers, personal pictures

Additional Notes

  • Approved Musical Instruments: Only with prior approval.
